Al-Sadd Sports Club
Founded in 1969, Al-Sadd Sports Club has become a prominent institution in the Qatari sports scene. The club boasts state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor facilities catering to a diverse range of sports, with football being the most prominent. In addition, the club offers fitness centers and swimming pools.
Al-Sadd Club had the privilege of hosting the FIFA Club World Cup and the Arab Club Championship in 2011. Furthermore, the Hamad Bin Ali Al-Attiyah Multipurpose Hall at Al-Sadd Club hosted the 2015 World Handball Championship and the World Judo Championships 2023.
The club is gearing up to host the World Aquatics Championships Doha - 2024, where the outdoor facilities at Al-Sadd Club will be utilized for water polo training , along with water polo competitions during the Masters Championships.
