Doha, 08 December 2023 - The Organizing Committee for the World Aquatics Championships - Doha 2024 has officially announced the opening of ticket sales for the event's inaugural ceremony. This event will take place at Aspire Dome on February 4, 2024, at 6:00 pm Doha time.

For the first time in the Middle East, Doha will proudly host this prestigious global event from February 2-18. Fans now have the opportunity to secure their seats for the opening ceremony, with ticket prices set at 200 Qatari Riyals for first category seating and 120 Qatari Riyals for the second category. These tickets also offer the chance to witness a third competition in artistic swimming in the afternoon.

The opening ceremony will feature a variety of programs, including segments celebrating Qatar’s rich ancient marine history and a parade showcasing the cultural richness and diversity of the participating countries, embodying the spirit of unity and cultural exchange.

World Aquatics Championships 

World Aquatics Championships – Doha 2024 is set to include 75 medal events in six Aquatic sports: swimming, artistic swimming, open water swimming, diving, high diving, and water polo across three venues in Doha. This Championship will showcase the world’s very best Aquatics athletes on their journey to world titles and Olympic qualification for Paris 2024 Olympics. World Aquatics Masters Championships - Doha 2024 will provide an ideal setting for the world’s best Aquatics competition for participants from around the world.
